Former Flying Eagles coach, Samuel Abimbola has reiterated his resolve to win the 2019 edition of the FCT FA cup,  Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.
Coach Abimbola whose academy,  Casmat Football Club reached the FA cup quarter-final yesterday after defeating high-flying Raphsody FC 1-0  said that he has full confidence to lift the coveted trophy on the final day.
“We played one of the toughest teams in the Challenge Cup today (yesterday)  and my team came out the better between the two.
“Everybody knows the quality in Raphsody but my boys held on against them from the blast of the whistle to the end. It was final before final and I commend my boys for doing a great job.
“Our priority has not changed and it will not change. We are going for the trophy. We want to represent FCT in the Aiteo Cup,” he said.
The former Gateway of Abeokuta gaffer also stated that his boys are doing a great job despite having a weakened team due to the unavailabilityof six key players.
Adding that his philosophy in using  youthful players is paying off because Casmat is one of the youngest team in the Cup with an average age of 18 years.
“As I told you after we beat Camp United 3-0 last week, I came here with a hugely depleted team because our six starters who are among the best in the club are unavailable. But it is all for good and I commend the young ones who have taken the advantage to ensure we do not miss them.
“The team is an epitome of my philosophy in football. Using youth to excute my match. You can see that Casmat is among the youngest team in the Challenge Cup and we have been able to brush aside some of the tough teams.  So it is paying off and we will continue in that regard, ” the former Sunshine Stars of Akure handler stated.
