Sunshine Stars Football Club of Akure, Ondo State, South West Nigeria, have confirmed that their coach, Kabiru Dogo is ‘safe and fine’ after he had a car accident on Thursday, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

Mr Dogo, head Coach of the Akure based side was involved in an auto crash on Thursday August 13, 2020 at about noon.

Eye witness account says the accident which involved the Kwara born gaffer and his driver happened on their way to Akure, Ondo State capital from Ilorin for a meeting with officials of Ondo State Football Agency.

The official car they were driving in was said to have been seriously damaged leading to fear and speculations over the health status of the former Nasarawa United coach.

However, reacting to the accident via its twitter handle, Sunshine Stars allayed fears over his health and said the coach was ‘safe and fine’
