The Independent Corrupt Practices and other related Offences Commission (ICPC) has denied it is in custody of certified true copies of all vouchers and approvals used to effect payments from the $8.4 million paid by FIFA to the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Bestchoicesports.com.ng understands. 

EFCC demanded for these vouchers and approvals from NFF, but secretary general Mohammed Sanusi in a letter dated October 20, 2016, reference number NFF/GEN/25/VOL.1/9 claimed: “We are sincerely writing to inform you that all records concerning the 2014 World Cup prize money are with the Independent Corrupt Practices and other related Offences, who are investigating the same matter.

“All efforts to retrieve the records have not been successful.”

However, ICPC spokesman Rashidat Adunni Okoduwa, told Daily Trust it was not true that the anti-corruption agency was holding those vouchers and approvals.

She also denied ICPC was investigating the NFF on the 2014 FIFA World Cup money, adding the commission was investigating the NFF over other issues
