Manchester United striker, Odion Ighalo has admonished Super Eagles striking duo of Victor Osimhen, Samuel Chukwueze, and other youngsters not to get carried away with fame and money if they want to build their careers, Bestchoicesports.com.ng reports.

Osimhen, who plays for Lille has been in fine form since signing for the Ligue 1 side as well as his countryman Chukwueze, who features for Villareal. In his interview with brila.net, Ighalo says the pay will be soon playing for the biggest club in the world but managing fame and success would be a stumbling block.

“I talk to Chukwueze, I talk to Osihmen more though because he is very close to me. These are young boys playing well. I encourage Osihmen very well, advise him to keep working hard, not get distracted, just concentrate,” he said.

“He is a good boy, always listening to advice, you know, He is a fantastic player and is going to be playing for one of the biggest clubs soon by God’s grace. He will also lead the national team attack.”

“We need to put them through you understand. Because fame does not last forever, money if you misuse it, it’s gonna go away. It’s your reputation, the way you live your life that matters. I hope they keep making Nigeria proud,” he added.

Osimhen and Chukwuze are Nigeria’s hottest players currently with several big European clubs clamouring for the services of the Lille of France and Villarreal of Spain based players respectively.
