Determined to improve the knowledge of football by coaches, the Dreamland-Embassy of Hungary is organising a five-day coaching course for Nigeria football coaches, Bestchoicesports.com.ng reports

The course which holds from 24-28 November, 2020 is geared towards impacting on Nigeria football coaches the rudiments on how to discover and nurture talented footballers to stardom.

In an interview with our correspondent in Abuja Tuesday, Mr Ndudi Edede, Director/CEO, Dreamland Football Academy said the coaching course which was held 8 years ago is being find tuned to meet the yearning gap in football coaching in the country.

He noted that the coaching course will be held in collaboration with the FCT Football Association, FCT Football Coaches Association, Nigeria Football Coaches Association and Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.

“In our bid to continually champion and encourage the development of football in Nigeria, we are organize a coaching course to improve our coaches. The 1st Dreamland-Embassy of Hungary Coaching Course is a five day capacity building programme which will start a day after the 8th edition of Dreamland-Embassy of Hungary tournament finals. It will take off from Tuesday 24th to Saturday, 28th November, 2020.

“We want to organize this course to improve Nigeria coaches especially at the grassroots level. We have organised similar course in 2012 and 2013 respectively with the support of High Chief Adegboye Onigbinde.

“We want to restart the programme again and at a bigger scale as we intend to partner in collaboration with the FCT Football Association, FCT Football Coaches Association, Nigeria Football Coaches Association and Nigeria Football Federation, NFF,” Mr Ndudi Edede, director/CEO, Dreamland Football Academy

The 24-28 date is tentatively fixed by the organisers pending when the federal government and the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF give green light for resumption of football activities in the country due to the ravaging impact of coronavirus also referred to as COVID-19.
