Nigeria campaigners in the CAF Confederation Cup, Enyimba FC produced a masterclass performance in Aba to consolidated their hope for a place in the knockout stage after thrashing their visitors, Paradou AC 4-1 in Aba on Sunday, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

Enyimba, who recently parted ways with their former Usman Abd’Allah had Fatai Osho at the helm and their display showed a feature from the old.

Enyimba started well with Victor Mbaoma trying a shot that was saved by Toufik. Enyimba had some ball possession but Paradou AC got into the game as Hamoudi unleashed a shot on Enyimba’s goal but it failed to trouble Nwabali.

Enyimba’s breakthrough came in the 14th minute through a goal from Stanley Dimba. Dare Olatunji’s shot was parried to a corner by Toufik and Reuben Bala swung the resultant corner into the box and it met the waiting head of Dimgba who finished brilliantly as the fans erupted.

Paradou’s Kadri was close to shocking Enyimba twice when his shot from outside the box was saved by Nwabali with one of those shots hitting the posts. Nwabali was on hand again to save Enyimba when he saved Bouzok’s long range effort.

Enyimba got their second on the day when they launched a quick counter attack. Darkwah’s cross met Mbaoma in the box who nodded home from a tight angle.

Two minutes later, Enyimba’s slick passing and attacking football met Stanley Dimba who laboured past Paradou defenders to slot past Toufik.

Enyimba started the second half well and almost got a fourth goal in the 51st minute but Mbaoma missed a glorious chance with the keeper at his mercy as his shot came off the post. Olisema and Ghorab soon drew saves from Toufik and Nwabali respectively.

Enyimba finally got their fourth goal through Stanley Dimgba who completed his hat-trick with a fine header off a corner kick from Stanley Okorom.
