The Director, Federal Capital Territory Sports Council, Chief (Mrs) Dilichukwu Onyedinma has expressed her condolences to the family of late Tolulope Abelola and the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF over the death of the former Head of the ICT in the federation, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

Mrs Dilochukwu who expressed grief over the death, prayed that his gentle soul rests in peace.

“Tolu dead? What a loss. Pls (please) my condolences to his family, NFF and his friends.

“May his gentle soul rest in peace,” she said in a Whatsapp group

On his part, Chairman, Adamwa United Football Club, Emmanuel Zira expressed sadness over Mr Abelola’s death.

The Adamwa State born astute administrator who described the late ICT guru as a gentleman prayed God to grant the loved ones he left behind the fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss

“So very sad ! A perfect gentleman. A great guy that is a friend to all! May his soul rest in perfect peace, and God grant his loved ones the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss.

“You have been a good and wonderful guy Tolu!” he said.

Until his death, Tolulope Abelola fondly called Tolu Abe for short, was the Head of NFG ICT unit.

He died due to complications from surgery

He was aged 48.
