Fieldoo Nigeria Challenge Crew Visits Premier Football Academy Abuja

As the April 5-11 2021 football trial by Fieldoo Nigeria Challenge beckons, the management of the challenge on Monday, November 30, visited Premier Football Academy, Abuja to sensitise the players and management of the academy on the forthcoming challenge.

Led by the Fieldoo Nigeria Challenge Director, Coach John Sam Obuh along with his Assistant Director, Coach Samuel Abimbola and Media Manager, Amaechi Agbo, they arrived the academy training base at Millennium Park Abuja at about 4:15 pm.

Coach of the academy, Ajayi Oluseye welcomed the crew to their base and also introduced them to the academy’s Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr Abdulbasid Tafoki.

Addressing the players, coach Obuh informed them about the Fieldoo Nigeria Challenge and what are expected of them and the need for them to prepare very well adding that “Fieldoo Nigeria Challenge is once-in-a-life-time opportunity for player to excel in their football careers.

“This is the first edition of the challenge in Nigeria after the success story in South Africa. And we are here, coincidentally, Premier Football Academy, is our pilot visit. And I am very much encouraged by the enormity of work your coach and CEO are putting in you guys.

“We have discussed with your coach and CEO who gave us their words that the academy will be part of the challenge next year.

“One thing you need to know is that when the management register for the challenge, you are the ones to do the job of ensuring you become the best and be part of the selected players by the end of 11th April, 2021,” he said.

Coach Obuh also expressed the determination of the crew to visit as many as football academies within and outside Abuja who showed interest and made contact with them for the purpose.

Speaking on behalf of the Academy, the CEO Mr Abdulbasid Tafoki thanked the Fieldoo Nigeria Challenge crew for deeming it fit to visit them and aslo making them their pilot academy in the sensitisation programme.

He expressed optimism that the academy will be part of the challenge when it gets underway on April 5th, 2021.

The Nigeria Fieldoo Challenge football trial is designed for players within 12 to 21 years, both male and female.

Over 10 club managers from Europe will, along with Fielddo management team based in Slovenia storm Nigeria from April 5 to 11 2020 for the trial.
