Speaking with our correspondent, coach of the side, Usman Haruna commended the boys for putting up a good performance but stressed that the team is yet a work in progress.

On why the coaching crew decided to play the young boys against older teams, the coach said “It is strategic. We do not know the players we are going to meet in the Dream Cup, so it is necessary we test their resilence and physicality.

The Future Eagles will depart Nigeria for Japan tomorrow for the Japan Dream Cup which starts on June 12, 2019.
