The Hungarian Ambassador to Nigeria, His Excellency, Dr. Sandor Beer, has commended Dreamland Football Academy for its pragmatic efforts and drives in promoting grassroots football in Nigeria, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report

Dr. Sandor who made the commendation Monday in Abuja, said the partnership between the Hungarian Embassy and Dreamland Football Academy is yielding fruitful results and charged the Chief Executive Officer of the academy, Mr Ndudi Emmanuel not to relent in his drive to discover, nurture and develop young footballers in the country.

The Ambassador who made the commendation while presenting a keynote address to mark the 2019 Hungarian National Day, said “Nigeria has shown that it has the capacity to challenge the world in various spheres of human endeavour. It is not surprising to see Nigerians all over the world, breaking records and achieving milages.

“These as possible because she is blessed with numerous natural and human resources. Individuals and institutions are driving the frontiers of the country in global affairs.

“It is therefore expedient to highlight here that the Government of Hungary is will at all times to partner with these innovative individuals in promoting social activities – be it sports, culture, technology, name it.

“I therefore commend Dreamland Football Academy for all they are doing to promote grassroots football in Nigeria. Our partnership with your is an enduring one and we will continue to harness it in the best way possible to continue to give hope to Nigeria youths,” he said.

The Ambassador who highlighted the achievements of the embassy in many areas including culture, sports among others, commended the partnership with the Embassy and Dreamland in terms of football and youth development in Nigeria and also appreciated the effort of Mr. Ndudi Edede, CEO – Dreamland Football Academy in his capacity as the General Secretary, Friend of Hungary Exclusive Club – Abuja (FOHEC) in achieving the club set objectives with her members.

In his speech, the CEO, Dreamland Football Academy, Mr Ndudi Emmanuel thanked the embassy for identifying with the academy in its zeal to develop football in the country.

He also appreciated all their supporters, partners, voluteers, clubs, academies etc for a successful collaboration and promised to continue to do more to take Nigeria football to greater hights

Dignitaries who attended the event in Maitama, Abuja diplomats, government funtionaries, partners and friends of the Embassy of Hungary in Abuja.

The 7th edition of Dreamland/Embassy of Hungry will start on 12th November this year with all 12 registered clubs and academies ready to slug it out.
