The Nigeria Referees Associatian, NRA, regrets the inconveniences members on duty have been experiencing, especially, in troubled areas of the country.

In a release Sunday, the association noted that it is fully aware of the challenges and particularly concerned about those who may have been trapped in their various locations due to the Sit-at-Home mode in the South East in the past two days, till this moment. Those in the trapped location, including others either passing or coming into affected areas after the matches are advised to be security conscious.

In view of this, the NRA advises members on transit/trapped after the matches to kindly be cautious wherever they may be and apply best safety measures for now to allow the heat die down before the leave.

Referees on transit/trapped are also advised to contact and seek the help of the council officials and members anywhere they are for any assistance.

The NRA President, Otunba Tade Azeez further advised affected persons to make a reach out to the national body/councils for any difficulty encountered.

The association is in serious prayers for the guidance of the Almighty God to all our members in these trying times.
