President of Kogi United Football Club and former Nigerian International, Abdul Sule has admonished the forty-six Clubs set to compete in the 2019/2020 Nigeria National League season to chase their ambition of winning the League’s top prize legitimately, rather than resorting to crude means of achieving success.

Abdul Sule, who is the President of Presidents of all the NNL teams told NNL Media that the aim of the game for all clubs is always to win, but it cannot be by unconventional means.
He explained that there are official channels of seeking redress when any one or club is not satisfied with the outcome of a match or decisions taken.

Sule noted that clubs must first prepare well and when they do so, it means they could win anywhere, so they must work hard enough for their success.
Sule who played for Nigeria for two years, from 1992 to 1994 said to have a season devoid of violence, clubs must take deliberate and constant steps in educating their fans to understand that only best teams win no matter the venue.

While congratulating the NNL, Sule equally charged the management of the second-tier league to ensure prompt adjudication of matters arising in the course of the season to avoid creating loopholes.

Abdul Sule played for Stationery Stores of Lagos, El-Kanemi Warriors of Maiduguri, the defunct NUB of Kaduna and BCC Lions of Gboko before going abroad to continue his playing career.
