Mancini Urges Balotelli To Revive His Career

Former Manchester City manager, Roberto Mancini, has urged Mario Balotelli to turn around his career and rediscover his missing potentials.

Balotelli  has had his fair share of incidents off the field with the latest coming after his club Brescia announced that they are taking legal action against the striker and his agent, Mino Raiola, for ‘false and slanderous accusations’.

Speaking to The Daily Mail, Mancini said: “I care for him, regardless of all the things he does.

“I trained him when he was still just a kid, I played him and he was extraordinary for any years. My hope is that he will do something to change all this, as he’s still only 30 years old and would be at the peak of his football maturity.

“I hope one day he wakes up and realizes he’s still throwing his talent away. Mario is an extraordinary lad, so kind and polite. I have explained to him many times that he is throwing his talent away because his potential is remarkable.”

The assurance comes days after Raiola told reporters that his client was ‘discriminated against’ because he had not been tested for coronavirus like the rest of his team-mates.

Balotelli was turned away from training on Tuesday because his medical certificate was invalid.
