CAF Thursday released a list of 25 referees and 30 assistant referees for the upcoming AFCON set to commence in Egypt on 21st of this month.

Included in the list of the 25 referees for the biggest African football tournament is Gambia’s Bakary Gassama Papa who was in charge of last weekend’s controversial Champions League final between Esperance de Tunis and Wydad Casablanca.

While minnows like Madagascar, Burundi, Lesotho and Seychelles has at least one representative, no Nigerian referee was considered for the tournament.
