Niger Tornadoes Football Club of Minna is saddened to announce the passing away of Abdullahi Jibril Popularly called (Sara) who died in the early hours of Thursday.

The deceased who participated in the team’s morning training program in the day had until his demise served as the curator of Niger Tornadoes in a career spanning nearly 3 decades.

In a message of condolence to the family and relatives of the deceased through the club’s Media Department, the Chairman of Niger Tornadoes FC, Engr. Ibrahim Dada on behalf of the Management, Technical Crew, Players and Supporting Staff, described the death as shocking but an act of God.

He said, late Abdullahi Jibril’s commitment, dedication and tremendous contribution and service to the state darling team can only be emulated and will surely be missed by the entire Niger Tornadoes family and supporters.

The chairman prayed Allah (SWT) to bless the deceased with Aljannah Firdaus and grant the family with the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The deceased who died aged 48 left behind mother, brothers and sisters.

According to the family sources, the funeral prayers of the deceased was held at the Minna Central Mosque.
