Niger Tornadoes began life at their newly adopted home ground, the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna State on a good footing as they recorded slim victory against visiting Remo Stars in matchday 18 of the 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL season, www.bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

Tornadoes coach, Abubakar Bala who described the match as a tough one, expressed delight that the boys began life in their new home a winning note

He noted that the victory will spur them on as they travel away to Dakkada FC in their next game.

“It was a very difficult and tight game, but we are happy at the end of 90 minutes we were able to get the three maximum points.

“The win is important to us because it is a first win after four matches, the win will put us in the right frame of mind going into our next against Dakkada,”

Niger Tornadoes are currently 14th on the log with 20 points from 19 games.
