It was mixed fortune for Super Eagles payers across European leagues on Saturday with Kenneth Omeruo unable to see game time in Spain, Bestchoicesports.com.ng understands.

Omeruo was benched in relegation threatened Leganes’ 2-1 away defeat at Osasuna in Saturday’s LaLiga clash with his compatriot, Chidozie Awaziem seeing 46 minutes of action.

Awaziem, made his 22nd league appearance of the season in the encounter where Enric Gallego scored for Osasuna on nine minutes but Javier Aviles drew Leganes level on 50 minutes.

Gallego netted the winner in the 96th minute to secure the three points for Osasuna.

Leganes are now winless in five consecutive games (three defeats and two draws) since football returned in Spain.

They are in the drop zone in 19th position on 25 points, seven points from safety.

In Italy, Ola Aina was in action for Torino as the team clubs battled it out in a 6-goal thriller against Caiglari. Unfortunately, Aina’s Torino came out the on the losing end with 4-2 scoreline.

Aina played for 74th minute before he substituted in the match which was his 23rd of the season for Torino.

The defeat to Cagliari leaves Torino in 14th position on 31 points and are six points away from the relegation spot.
