Super Eagles striker, Victor Osimhen will sign a new one year contract extension with Italian Serie A champions, Napoli, it has been understood

Osimhen’s new contract will see him remain at the club until 2026

The Africa Footballer of the Year’s current contract elapses in June 2025

The agreement will include a release clause valid for fee in the region of €130/140m

The contract comes with much improved financial benefits for Osimhen who is understood would be the highest paid player in the club by the time the contract takes effect.

Osimhen was during the week crowned the 2023 Africa Footballer of the Year on Morocco following his explosive performances for his club last season.
