The last may not have been heard of the much talked about transfer of KADA City FC to Delta State government under the auspices of Delta Force FC of Asaba.

Bestchoicesports can report that the sensational change of ownership in which transactions were stained with mulky waters may have forced the owner and President of the Club Senator Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi to force the CEO/General Manager Ekene Adams to resign from the club, and investigations launched into his activities in the Club.

The transactions which many believed cost the Delta State government over 70 million Naira was surrounded with various allegations until the deal scale through at the beginning of the second stanza of the current League season

Source close to the management of Kada City FC revealed that the management at its meeting on Friday 3 May, expressed displeasure over the environment in which the deal was transacted, thereby forcing the former CEO Ekene Adams to resign, and was immediately replaced by Heyman Abdullahi.

The meeting was held in Abuja and presided over by the President of Kada City football club, Senator Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi.

The meeting also appointed a seven man interim management committee to take over the activities of the club.

In a later release signed by Senator Hunkuyi, the Board has directed Ekene Adams to hand over all files, documents, properties of the Club to the new Head of the Interim Management.

The meeting further directed that an audit team to be appointed immediately to determine all revenues and expenditure accruing to the club from inception to date. This they said was to ensure a smooth financial transition and responsibilities of the club.
