Super Eagles’ defender, Kenneth Omeruo’s permanent deal with Leganes is currently being held up by a disparity in the valuation of the player by his parent club, Chelsea and the Spanish La Liga side, reports standard.co.uk.

Omeruo, who has never made a senior appearance for the Blues, is determined to leave Stamford Bridge for CD Leganes.

The La Liga side became the sixth different club to sign the Nigerian international on loan from Chelsea last term. They want to buy him now and have already had one offer rejected, but are prepared to increase their bid to £4.6m for the 25-year-old.

Chelsea reportedly wants slightly more than that, but there are feelers that the London club would accept Leganes bid before the window closes on Thursday.
