Central African Republic (CAR) head coach Raoul Savoy has accused Rwanda referee, Louis Hakizimana of helping Nigeria’s Super Eagles to beat his team in Duoala, Cameroon during the matchday 4 World Cup qualifying encounter.

The experienced Hamizmama was the centre umpire in the match that saw Super Eagles defeat CAR 2-0 to sustain their leadership of Group C in the qualifying race.

Leon Balogun’s 30th minute strike and Victor Osimhen 47th minut goal got the Eagles the needed 3 points off their opponents, the Wild Beasts of Central Africa Republic.

The win took the Eagles to nine points and maintain leadership in Group C and condemned CAR to 3rdbafyer Cape Verde recorded a win against Liberia.

But reacting to the outcome of the game Savoy blamed poor officiating for his team’s loss.

“My players did well and I’m very proud of their performance,” he said in his post-match analysis.

“Nigeria played with 12 men because the referee helped them to win. The first goal was from an offside position and my goalkeeper was fouled for the second goal.

“We did not concede against Nigeria over the two legs, they scored with the help of the referee.”

CAR Coach was confident that his young lads would repeat their win over the Eagles after they ran away 1-0 victors in Lagos on Thursday.

Both teams will be back in action when the fifth and sixth round of the qualifiers resume in November.
