As the reality of playing in the Nigeria’s second tier league, the Nigeria National League, NNL continues to dawn on former Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL campaigners, Kano Pillars, the management of the club has charged players who desire to leave the club to do so without any hindrance.

In an official statement announcing a two weeks break following the conclusion of the 2021/2022 football season, the acting chairman of the club Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima said that the club’s relegation to the lower league was disheartening but stressed that the management has accepted the situation in good faith.

“Players wishing to leave the club can contact the management on the way forward because we don’t want to deny any player his wish.”

“Relegation of the club in the just concluded season to the lower league was disheartening but we accept it in good faith as its will of Allah.”

The former Nigeria Football Federation, NFF President wished the players and technical crew of the club a successful break and urged them to start thinking of ways to move the club forward.

Key players of the former NPFL champions are expected to find their way out as top NPFL clubs would wish to work them back into playing in the top flight.
