Ahead of their campaign in the Nigeria’s second tier league, the Nigeria National League, NNL, Kano Pillars have appointed new technica crew with Evans Ogenyi as adviser.

The former Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL champions found themselves in the lower division after they were relegated from the elite league last season.

In a statement released by the club on Thursday, Mr Ogenyi will be assisted by Ibrahim Musa – Chief Coach; Ahmad Garba Yaro Yaro Coach, Gambo Muhammad Assistant Coach and Abbas Auwalu as goalkeeper Trainer.

Mr Ogenyi has wealth of experience in Nigeria leagues after managing Lobi Stars and Warri Wolves. He beat 28 other candidates to be handed the offer

Event though the new technical crew 0tomised to do their best for the club in the new season, however the duration of their contracts were not disclosed by the club.

Acting Chairman of the club , Alhaji Ibrahim Galadima said their appointments is with immediate effect adding that “they are to start assembling players of the club for normal training from today,”

The date for the commencement of the 2023 NNL season is yet to be announced by the league organisers.
