FC Ifeanyiubah Return To Nnwei After Banishment To Enugu

Nigeria Professional Football League side, FC Ifeanyi Uba have returned to their home stadium in Nnewi Anambra State for the remainder of the 2020/2021 NPFL season, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report
The return to the Ifeanyiubah International Stadium in Nnewi followed approval granted by the League Management Company, LMC for the club to return to their home base after serving “indefinate banishment to Enugu.
It could be recalled that FC Ifeanyiubah were banished to Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium in Enugu following fan’s encroachment into the club’s match against Rivers United in Matchday 15 encounter in Nnewi.
LMC in a letter approving the return dated May 20th, 2021 and signed by the Chief Operating Officer, Salihu Abubakar directed the club to produce evidence of security measures adopted as well as comply with Covid-19 measures as approved.

RE: SUMMARY JURISDICTION NOTICE
Kindly be advised that upon a review of your additional arrangements, the League Management Company (LMC) hereby approves the return of home matches of FC | Ifeanyiubah to the Ifeanyiubah Int’l Stadium, with immediate effect.
However, note further that you are required to provide evidence of the updated security clearance at the Ifeanyiubah Int’! Stadium.
You are also to ensure that all return to football protocols as approved by the Presidential Task Force, the NFF, and LMC are strictly adhered to in future matches and activities of your Club.

With this development, FC Ifeanyiubah will play their matchday 22 against Sunshine Stars at the Ifeanyi Ubah International Stadium, Nnewi.
The match will kick-off by 4pm.
