Former Super Eagles striker, Odion Ighalo scored a brace over the weekend for his club Al-Shabab but it couldm only fetch them a point as they to a three-all draw against Al Ittifaq at home.
Ighalo opened scoring on the 39th minute and got his second goal 10 minutes later as Al Shabab ran to a 3-0 lead
However, Al-Ittifaq staged a remarkable comeback in the second half to score thrice and salvage a 3-3 draw.
This draw is coming after Ighalo’s team lost their opening game of the new season.
Last season, the Super Eagles striker netted nine goals in 13 league matches following his departure from Manchester United.
Ighalo and his teammates will be in the road on Thursday when Al-Shabab will be guests to Al-Fateh in matchday 3 of the 2021/2022 Saudi Arabia League.
