Enugu Rangers squad has been boosted with the return of three players from injury ahead of their next CAF Confederation Cup clash against Al Masry, Bestchoicesports.com.ng understands

Ikechukwu Ibenegbu, Uche John and Ifeanyi George who all missed Rangers’ 3-1 defeat to FC Pyramids in Enugu on Sunday, are now fit for their next fixture away to Egyptian side Al Masry.

Media officer, Norbert Okolie told The PUNCH that the trio is back in training and will be travelling with the team, adding that he hopes their return will help spur the team to victory on Sunday.

“Some of our injured players are back in the team and they will be travelling with us,” Okolie said

“Ike Ibenegbu, Uche John, Ifeanyi George are training with the rest of the team. To a large extent, these returnees will help us to fight for point in Alexandra on Sunday.”

Okolie also confirmed that the team will on Friday depart Nigeria for Alexandra, venue of their second group match of the competition.

“The team will leave from Lagos on Friday with a flight schedule for 2 pm.”

Al Masry will want to consolidate on their opening group win against Nouhadhibou of Mauritania which they won by 3-2.
