Super Eagles attacker, Ademola Lookman has continued his imperious form in Italy as he scored two goals in two minutes to help Atalanta defeat Spezia 5-2 in the Coppa Italia

Thursday’s brace has made it 11 goals in all competitions for the former Leicester City man this season.

The victory propelled Atalanta to the quarter-final of the competition.

Atalanta have scored 13 goals in their last two games in all competitions with Lookman having a hand in five goals – 4 goals and one assist.

Only Victor Osimhen (13) and Lautaro Martínez (12) have scored more goals in all competitions this season for Serie A clubs than Atalanta’s Ademola Lookman (11).

This is already the highest scoring season of his career.

On Sunday, the 25 year-old grabbed a brace and an assist in the 8-2 demolition of Salernitana at the Gewiss Stadium in the Italian Serie A

This weekend Atalanta travel to Turin where they’ll face Juventus, with just three points separating the sides in the league.
