Sad news coming in has it that the Enugu State Football Association Chairman, Chidi Ofo Okenwa is dead, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report

The versatile football administrator died Early hours of Tuesday morning after battling undisclosed sickness.

Before his death, Mr Okenwa was the chairman of Nigeria National League, NNL and a board member of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF.

Emmanuel Ochiagha who broke the news this morning said: Breaking News :
God have mercy
South East Fa have just lost one of our finest brains in football admin.
We have this morning hours lost the Enugu State FA Chairman , Mr. CHIDI OFOR OKENWA to the cold hands of death.
May his soul rest in perfect peace.

Mr Okenwa died in Enugu.
