Enugu Govt. Commiserates With Rangers Over Player’s Death

The Enugu State Government has expressed her deepest condolences to the families of the late Enugu Rangers International Football Club player, Ifeanyi George and his two friends, who died in a fatal motor accident Sunday, on their way to Lagos State.

In a statement by the Commissioner for Information, Nnanyelugo Chidi Aroh, the state government also condoled with the management, players and supporters of the football club over the unfortunate loss.

Aroh who disclosed that the state government was deeply saddened by the news of Ifeanyi’s death, described him as a dedicated player who gave his all and showed the highest sense of responsibility and commitment to the team.

“It is our candid prayer that the Almighty God grant all of us the fortitude to bear this loss and also grant the souls of the departed eternal rest”, the statement said.
