FIFA, NFF Celebrate Falcons Midfielder Rita Chikwelu @33

World football governing body, Federation of International Football Associations, FIFA as well as Nigeria Football Federation, Nff Saturday celebrated Super Falcons Midfield marshal, Rita Chikwelu as she marked her 33rd birthday
As their culture of recognizing footballers per excellence, FIFA sent salute to the Super Falcons maestro for marking another year.
The Asaba-born Rita Chikwelu clocked 33 on Saturday with the Nigeria Football Federation and FIFA showing some genuine love through social media platforms.
In their birthday message on Twitter, FIFA said “@Ritachikwelu has shone for the @NGSuper_Falcons at multiple editions of the #FIFAWWC and is helping @MadridCFF challenge for a @UWCL place. We hope the tricky forward has a great birthday”
The playmaker is a professional football player who despite her age is playing for Spanish club Madrid Club de Fútbol Femenino (Madrid CFF).
She previously played for Umeå IK and Kristianstads DFF.
She has also been a member of the Nigeria women’s national football team for many years courtesy of the iconic number 10 jersey.
She has won the Africa Women’s Championship, played at the FIFA Women’s World Cup and was also a member of the Nigerian Olympic team which participated in the 2008 Summer Olympics in China.
On her part, Rita thanked God for adding another glorious year to her life
