The five successful surgeries were part of a batch of patients sent to India for heart operation with all financial expenses borne by the former Super Eagles sprains foundationfor the month of April.

The founder of Kanu Heart Foundation, Kanu Nwankwo disclosed the cheering news in his Twitter handle this afternoon.

While expressing joy over the development, the former Arsenal hitman thanked God for making the operation successful and wished them safe journey back home

“Happy weekend. We are happy to announce that 5 people out of the batch of operations scheduled for Kanu Heart Foundation for April 2019 has gone successfully well. .
