Godfirst Samson added another National title to her already building cartaways as she steamrolled to a 7-1 in the final of the -55kg event at the Open National Championship in Lafia at the weekend.

Coupled with her victory in the same event at the National Sports Festival last year, Godfirst is now eyeing bigger tests on the Continent and perhaps at the World Championships, she told brila.net.

‘I think I did great because I set a target in Lafia and I achieved it.

‘I really want to fight against opponents and outclass them, ultimately to build myself for African and World championships.

‘So, I can say that to a huge extent I achieved this in Lafia; even more, than I managed at the Sports Festival,” she told Brila
