Enugu, the Capital of Enugu State, South-East Nigeria will come alive this week as 8 teams who have qualified for the Nigeria National League Super 8 Playoff have arrived the Coal City for the competition, wwwbestchoicesports.com.ng can report

At stake are four promotional tickets to Nigeria Professional Football League, NPFL next season.

With almost all the teams already in the serene city of Enugu, the organisers of the Super 8 otherwise called “Enugu 2021” have announced that the draw for the competition will hold on Monday, September 6, 2021.

Hostilities are expected to commence on Tuesday, 7th.

The 8 teams will be paired in two Northern and Southern groups with the first two teams qualifying to be part of the 2021/2021 NPFL season.

A statement by the NNL indicates that the draw will hold at the Conference Hall of Autella Hotel, Number 35B, Mbaukwu Street, by VOSAN, Independence Layout, Enugu by 6pm.

Expected to attend the draw are club’s representatives which include the Head coach/technical adviser, team captain and the media manager.

The 8 teams are: Ekiti United, Shooting Stars, Remo Stars and Bendel Insurance of Benin which make up the Southern group.

The Northern group will see Gombe United, DMD FC, Elkanemi Warriors and Niger Tornadoes square up.

As at the time of this report, Ekiti United, Bendel Insurance, Shooting Stars, NIgeria Tornadoes, Remo Stars have all confirmed their arrival at the Coal City state.
