NPFL Preview: Niger Tornadoes Target First Home Win In Kaduna Over Remo Stars

The Ikon Allah Boys will wrap up their final home game of the FIRST ROUND in the ongoing 2021/2022 NPFL season with a crunch tie against Gbenga Ogungbote’s boys who came out 3-0 victors in their week 17 derby clash against Sunshine Stars of Akure.

The Ahmadu Bello Stadium is Tornadoes third home venue having started the season in Ilorin, then Abuja and now Kaduna. There is however optimism in the camp as the game kickoff this Saturday.

The Ikon Allah Boys recorded wins in their first games in Ilorin against Plateau United and in Abuja against Shooting Stars and optimism is high for another flying start in their new adopted home.

Meanwhile, Niger Tornadoes General Coordinator Adamu Yusuf have assured that the fans should expect a different ball game from the Ikon Allah Boys in the team’s first game at their new adopted home venue, (Kaduna)

Speaking with the club’s media crew ahead of the Saturday encounter, Mr Yusuf said the spirit in camp is high and expressed high hopes and confidence of getting a win over Remo Stars.

In recent meeting between the two teams, Niger Tornadoes have emerged victories twice and the remaining two in four clashes ending barren.
