The management of Nigeria National League side, Osun United felicitate with Muslim Faithful in the State of Osun and beyond on the occasion of this year’s Eid-Fitri celebration, Bestchoicesports.com.ng reports

A statement by the President, Chief Ademola Adesina, made on behalf of the management also urges Muslims to continue with the good deed, alms giving and peaceful co-existence with everyone as they enter into the new Islamic month of Shawwal today.

The statement, made available to newsmen by the Media Officer of the team, Tajudeen Amodu reads:
“We congratulate our Muslim fans, supporters, players and technical crew for the successful end of Ramadan fast. The holy month of Ramadan preaches love, brotherliness, patience and perseverance which should continue beyond Ramadan for unity and progress of the society to be maintained.”

“We pray Allah to accept the fast from all Muslim Faithful as an act of Ibadah and accept the fervent prayers of Muslims across the world to end the global pandemic of Covid-19, which has brought all activities to a halt,” said the statement.

Chief Adesina uses the opportunity to enjoin players and technical crew of Osun United to be warming up for resumption very soon as the lockdown continues to ease.
