French born Nigerian Ski athlete, Samuel Ikpefan has expressed joy for taking part in the 2021 Falun Ski World Cup in Sweden.

At the World Cup, Ikpefan showed good techniques and does not lose so much at a distance in the sprint qualification. He was ahead of Czech republic JAN PECHUSHEK but lost 23 seconds to the winner ERIK VALNES.

This is given the fact that the Falun sprint is one of the most difficult in the entire world cup calendar

With his performance at the Falun sprint, Samuel Ikpefan will fly Nigeria’s flag once again at the World Cup in Oberstdorf and has a good chance of at least a high qualification result.

The Oberstdorf World Cup will be the 42nd edition of the FIS Nordic world Ski championship which will be held from 22nd of February to the 7th of March 2021 in Oberstdorf Germany
