Super Eagles head coach, José Peseiro has disclosed that their Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON 2023 opponents, South Africa created many problems for the three-time champions on Wednesday.

Nigeria won 4-2 on penalties after an entertaining 120 minutes of football ended 1-1 at the Stade de la Paix in Ivory Coast.

The Portugese who said that his players deserved to be in the final added that the boys had to achieve the victory in a hard way.
