Golden Eaglets of Nigeria will battle Guinea in the semi-final of the 2019 U-17 Africa Cup of Nations, AFCON holding in Tanzania, Bestchoicesports.com.ng can report.

The last four teams standing in the championship were confirmed Sunday after the last Group B matches were decided.

In the two matches played this afternoon, Cameroon drew goalless with Senegal to top the group with 7 points while Guinea defeated Morocco 1-0 to occupy the second position with six points.

Earlier on Saturday, Nigeria and Angola confirmed their passages to the last four after conclusion of the Group A matches with Nigeria emerging winners with 7 points against Angola’s who placed second with 6 points.

The four semi-finalists, Nigeria, Angola, Cameroon and Guinea will represent Africa in this year’s FIFA U-17 World Cup Chamapionship later in the year.

Nigeria will take on Guinea for a place in the final on Wednesday, April 24. The match will be played by 2pm Nigeria time.
